The Limited Warranty does not cover:

• To consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

• To cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or broken plastic ports.

• To damage caused by accident, abuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake, or external cause.

• To damage caused by operating the product outside the published guidance.

• To damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by any unauthorized Service Provider.

• To product that has been modified to alter functionality or capacity without written permission.

• To any device which the serial number has been removed.

Notification

• During warranty service, the contents of the storage media may be deleted and reformatted.

• The warranty card is confined to the first purchaser of the product only and is not transferable.

• The above terms and conditions apply only to HotWav products sold within the territory of Sri Lanka.

Warranty Policy

• Warranty starts from Mobile – 12 months from Activation (Adapter, Cable: 06 months)

DOA Policy

• When a product is defective after the customer has purchased it.

• Within 7 days from activation / Purchase

• Hardware defect only

• Product needs to physically reach service center on time for DOA

• Eligibility can be decided only by the service center; with the complete device with box & accessories. Not applicable for:

  • Software accessory defect
  • Customer misuse / Physical damage / Liquid damage

Repairs for non-warranty items

• Non-warranty Items will be taken under the service custody once the estimate amount is paid and sent through the job sheet / request, LKR 500.00 to be paid.

• Estimates will be valid for 7 days. If the payment is made, repair will proceed. If not, unit will be returned. And if the repair is confirmed, the estimate fee will be waived off.
